A New Event Series For The Collective: Moms & Caretakers Community Calls

The CNY Women’s Network is proud to partner Elizabeth “Liz” Evett, founder of Speaking Emotions LLC, to introduce the Moms & Caretakers Community Call, a new virtual event series exclusively for members of The Collective.

A Licensed Mental Health Counselor, author, wellness coach, and mother of two, Liz brings more than a decade of experience in mental health and a personal understanding of the many roles caretakers balance.

Through this partnership, Liz will lead monthly calls where moms and caretakers can share experiences and support one another.

At the CNY Women’s Network, we believe in bringing women together and creating opportunities to connect beyond our professional lives.

We're excited to work with Liz to offer a space where members can show up as they are and find community with women navigating similar experiences.

what to expect

Motherhood and caregiving can be rewarding, exhausting, fulfilling, and overwhelming, sometimes all in the same day.

Led by Liz, these monthly calls will be relaxed, conversational, and shaped by the women who participate. There's no set agenda, no pressure to share, and certainly no expectation to have all the answers.

Whether you're raising young children, parenting teenagers, or caring for loved ones, you'll have an opportunity to connect with women who understand the joys and challenges that come with caring for others.

Our hope is that you leave feeling seen, heard, connected, and maybe even a little lighter than when you arrived.

Whether you're looking to meet other moms and caretakers, share your experiences, or simply enjoy some time connecting with women who understand, we hope you'll join us for an upcoming call.

About Liz Evett

Elizabeth “Liz” Evett is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Author, Wellness Coach, and Founder of Speaking Emotions LLC. With over a decade of experience supporting women and families, her work now focuses on real-life self-care — the kind that actually fits into busy, full lives.

Liz talks about emotional regulation, personal responsibility, and the everyday ways women can care for themselves without stepping away from the people who rely on them. Her approach is honest, practical, and interactive — blending professional insight with lived experience.

A mom of two, Liz understands firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself while holding everything together. She speaks candidly about what it means to show up well for others without abandoning yourself in the process — offering tools women can actually use after the Masterclass ends.

Through interactive workshops, speaking engagements, and one-on-one coaching, Liz focuses on practical skills rooted in emotional awareness, self-leadership, and sustainable self-care.
