introducing: the Inspiring Woman Award
At the 2026 CNY Women’s Summit, we were proud to introduce something new—and deeply meaningful to our community: the Inspiring Woman Award.
Created by the CNY Women’s Network in partnership with our presenting sponsor, Nascentia Health, this annual award honors one Central New York woman who leads with courage and vision while creating space for other women to rise.
This year, we were honored to name Lisa Marie Newcomb as the inaugural recipient. Through her work with Thrive in Healing and the Syracuse Yoga Collective, Lisa creates spaces for rest, healing, and connection—reminding us that wellness is not a luxury, but a birthright, and that true leadership is rooted in lifting others along the way.
In honor of our 5th Annual CNY Women's Summit, we are proud to introduce something new this year: The Inspiring Woman Award.
This award will be presented annually by the cny women’s network to honor one woman who is unapologetically herself, who leads with courage and vision, and who creates space for other women to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
